The ground floor is quite damp. It works well enough for a one night stop while passing through.

The sea is only five minutes away, and mornings come with birdsong. It’s such a peaceful spot. The hosts are warm and genuine, and the kitchen has dishes and a gazebo. There’s a washing machine too, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Just relax and enjoy it. Wonderful!

We left after two days because the conditions were awful, then headed to Tbilisi, where we had a lovely host and a great vacation. I developed a terrible allergy from the dirt and mold. The rooms aren’t cleaned, so I had to dust and clean ours myself as soon as we checked in. There was a moldy smell, old musty furniture, rust-stained mattresses and bedding, and the bathroom was a whole other story. Don’t trust the photos or room descriptions. We wouldn’t recommend staying here. I honestly haven’t seen a more horrific vacation spot, though we haven’t traveled much. There was no privacy or place to relax. You couldn’t even sit at your own table on the balcony for coffee without people crowding past. An Armenian family with children stayed beside us, so we had to dodge the kids and laundry on the way to our room each morning. Their mother made a show of pretending not to understand Russian and seemed to do her best to get us to leave. The hosts were welcoming, which was the only positive. Apparently, the owner canceled our reservation right after we checked in to save on taxes. When we left, Zaza refunded only a third of what we’d paid, claiming the rest had gone to taxes and fees. That made no sense. We paid for two days almost as much as we would have for ten. It’s a shame I can’t give this a minus five.

The beach was clean and not crowded, and the sea is nearby. There’s a small grocery shop close to this cozy place. The hosts are welcoming, and there’s a kitchen with all the utensils you need.
