Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, and the place was so calm and quiet that it was easy to unwind. The host welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home straight away. A cozy place, and I had a wonderful stay.

The rooms were tidy and very clean, and breakfast was great even though the choices were limited. Inga looked after everything efficiently and took care of all our needs. She seemed to be managing the property on her own, and did a great job. A hidden gem near Shumi winery!

The wine tasting led by the young manager was a highlight, and the wine was the best we drank in Georgia. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the service felt professional. Thanks to all the staff for a great time and beautiful memories. Everything turned out better than I expected.

The family who owned the property were really accommodating, and both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. For an inexpensive place to stay, the service and venue were incredible.

We were welcomed right away by the friendly staff when we arrived at Galaktionis Marani. It’s quiet and very clean, with a relaxing rural feel. Our rooms had clean, comfortable beds and large bathrooms with good showers, and there was a closed-in yard with tables. At dinner, the staff and family were in the dining room enjoying a big supra. It was lovely to see them having such a good time together. We got plenty of food options, and soon after we ordered, dishes we hadn’t asked for started arriving as a gift from the family. By the time our order came, we were nearly too full, though the shkmeruli was so good. When we were about to leave, they invited us to join them for one drink. We ended up spending the next three hours talking with them and feeling like part of the family. This may be my favorite memory from Georgia. Didi madloba to Galaktioni, the staff, and the family.
