The spot is a big plus, right by the entrance to Prometheus Cave. Getting there and finding the parking and entrance was confusing when we arrived around 8pm, but after I emailed the hotel, a kind man came out to guide us. He seemed to be the owner or caretaker. He didn't speak English, though we managed fine with an app on his phone. The room was freezing, and the bed felt like cardboard. A little electric heater was provided, but it barely warmed anything. At least there were extra blankets. A rooster started crowing at 3:40am and kept at it for four hours, so we hardly slept. We also couldn't get online: although there was a WiFi password on a slip of paper in the room, no networks showed up on our phone. The man made us breakfast in the morning, with a fried egg, sausage, cheese, bread, tea or coffee, cookies, and persimmons and autumn olives picked straight from a tree. He also offered us wine for free. It was a pretty mediocre stay overall.

๐จ A tourist trap. Misleading information and unacceptable conditions. ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ We reserved for four and paid extra for another bed, but got only two small beds, which wasn't enough. Breakfast, the pool, bike rental, and the restaurant had all been advertised, yet these services were unavailable or didn't exist. The room was unhygienic, with insects and gnawing sounds coming from the wood at night. Our children woke up covered in bites. We left after one night, but got no refund despite the missing services and other problems. The owner refused to discuss it and acted like he knew nothing. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

I had such a lovely stay here last year. It felt cozy and homey, and it was clean. A wonderful spot for a family or a group of friends. Thanks so much, I'll be back again this year โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
