After long workdays in the exceptional July 2025 heat, I loved coming back to my spacious room and marble bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The renovated heritage house feels peaceful and full of art, with Georgian hospitality from the staff. Breakfast had both sweet and salty options, salads, and nice surprises like caviar. The garden and balconies on each floor were lovely. The City Center is a 5-10 minute walk, and there’s a 24-hour-open-supermarket at the end of the lane. I’m looking forward to staying at Hotel Argo again.

I spent three days at Argo Boutique Hotel in Kutaisi and had a fantastic stay. The interior is beautifully put together, with a comfortable, home-away-from-home feel. The staff were so kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Service was outstanding, and they went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kutaisi.

The rooms are clean, new, and well equipped, and the staff are friendly and speak English. When we bought vegetables as vegetarians and planned a small supper on the outside balcony, staff quickly brought us plates and cutlery. I highly recommend it.

If you book a room through Booking, keep in mind that the pictures don’t match what you get. Only two rooms have proper large balconies. The rest have what they call a “balcony,” but it’s just a fenced ledge about 10-15 cm wide.

The building is lovely and the room was very nice, with a jacuzzi. Check-in was fast, too. But asking for an extra fee to help with luggage to the room was something I’d never come across before. After a group finished breakfast, the dining room was left looking awful, with nobody having tidied it. There’s a lot of potential here, but it isn’t being managed well enough. I posted this at least a week ago and still haven’t heard back from management.
