Avoid this place. We had a prepaid reservation, and they confirmed it on the day we were due to arrive. Booking lists two different places, Edemi and Edemi castle. The pin for Edemi castle isn't at this location, which is where Booking appears to show it, but at the spot Google labels Edemi hotel. When I asked whether we'd be staying at Edemi castle rather than Edemi, they immediately cancelled, saying it was overbooked. This happened only a few hours before arrival. They also sent about 20 rude words through Booking's official messaging system. I've never experienced that kind of behavior. It was a total fraud and a lot of trouble.

The room had only a refrigerator, a TV, and a broken bed, with no way to make tea. Bedding was torn, plumbing was broken, and hot water was sometimes unavailable. The building is beside a busy road, so getting proper rest was difficult, and the rooms didn't feel secure. The Booking.com description is superficial, so don't be taken in by the claim that a famous writer once lived there. It felt like a cheap hostel. The hotel is at the wrong address, too. If you don't have a SIM card and can't call the owner, you may not be able to find it. I don't recommend staying here.
