The rooms were fine, and the location was useful for catching a bus, but the people running the place ruined the stay. We had told them the day before that we needed to leave at 8 for our 8:30 bus. At 8, nobody was at the desk and we were locked inside the hotel, so we had to climb out a window to get out. We missed the bus. Eventually a woman woke up, but she didn’t apologize and seemed angry with us. They later sent an apology through booking, but it was too little, too late. This place needs polite, welcoming people who are just nice to guests. I don’t want to support behaviour like that. Don’t stay here. See you never, Larooms.

The family who run the place were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the host speaks good English. He answered all my questions. My room was large and comfortable, with excellent heating and air-con, though the bathroom was functional rather than spotless, a little grimy in places. Breakfast was really good, with generous portions and plenty of local food. Each evening they asked what time I wanted breakfast the next morning, so I didn’t have to work around a fixed schedule. It’s around a 30-40 minute walk each way into the city, which is a bit far for an easy stroll, but a taxi only costs a few Lari. The main bus station in Kutaisi is just over a 10-minute walk away, and there’s a large Spar Supermarket nearby, which was very handy.

A friendly family runs this small hotel, and they’re ready to help with things like printing a boarding pass or arranging airport transfers. The rooms aren’t very big, and the bathroom is more practical than comfortable, but it was good enough compared with other places here. Breakfast is served in the lobby and is simple but okay. There’s no lunch or dinner option, so you’ll need to walk a bit to find food. The city is no more than 2.5 kms away. It’s a very good choice for staying in Kutaisi for a few days.

We really enjoyed staying here. The room was absolutely fine, and breakfast was good too. The owner’s day trips were the highlight, amazing outings at a fair price. He speaks English. And special thanks to his mother, who always had a smile on her face. She’s the good spirit of the house. Thanks for everything.
