Hotel Best Western Kutaisi

We spent one night here and booked three rooms. The hotel is beside the river, and the sound of the flowing water gives the area a lively feel. Our rooms were a decent size, with standing balconies overlooking the surroundings. The water pressure was strong, and the mattresses were semi-soft. Breakfast was limited, but the portions were decent and it was good enough. Manager Mohamed made custom omelettes when we asked, which made all six of us happy.

The receptionists were friendly, but the stay as a whole wasn’t good. Wind came through a gap by the balcony door, so I had to change rooms. The breakfast was advertised as a nice buffet, but there was no buffet and very little to choose from. It definitely wasn’t worth the money.

My partner and I had a great stay at Best Western. The bed was really comfortable, and the shades kept outside light out well. The staff were welcoming and always ready to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I’d recommend it!

We liked the view at first, but the food was terrible, tasteless, and looked unappetising. We left it untouched and told the manager, who didn’t react. I asked for ginger tea and got cinnamon tea instead. The server tried to convince me it was ginger, and only showed me the cinnamon powder after I asked what they’d used. Then the manager said she didn’t know the difference. If you come here, be careful about allergies, since you might be given something different from what you ordered. The wine selection was poor, and they tried to sell us a bottle that was already open, more than half empty, and stored in the fridge with a cork. We left pretty quickly. The experience was very bad, which was a shame given the view. The only thing I’d recommend is the rooftop bar for a cup of coffee.
