Our three days and two nights at Guest House Nikea in Kutaisi were a string of letdowns. The owners didn't speak English, which made things harder, and the owner was pressing us for payment as soon as we arrived. Customer satisfaction didn't seem to matter much to them. The advertised amenities weren't all there or up to standard. There was no hair dryer, and although a washing machine was in the house, using it turned into a discussion and negotiation. There was no bidet either. The bathroom was acceptable, but basic toiletries were missing. Cleanliness was passable, though not great. The bedding and blankets had cigarette burn holes, which made us question the hygiene. Overall, the stay was highly unsatisfactory, and I wouldn't recommend this property because of the cleanliness, the owner's behavior, poor service and the general quality.

The rooms were dirty, with lots of cigarette butts and ash even in the non-smoking rooms. Other guests smoked all over the place during our stay, including in rooms and shared areas. Worst hotel ever. I'd pick somewhere else.
