Hotel Villa

We had a class trip from Kakheti and really regretted going there. Before we arrived, they said we’d have the hotel to ourselves, but there were other people staying too. The people were terrible, especially the lady with the black hear, who was mean and screamed at us.

We got in around 11 at night, and the first welcome at reception felt unpleasant. The man answering us came across as a bit arrogant when we asked questions. I chose the hotel after reading reviews, but it didn’t meet my expectations. Our room was just okay, and being on the third floor meant hauling our own bags up a very steep staircase that could be risky for older or less steady guests. Breakfast was the one real plus: it was limited, but we enjoyed it. With the service and room quality, I’d give it two stars.

Our flight was cancelled, and at 3 a.m. we were short on options, so we found this hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the receptionist was kind enough to prepare an invoice for us. A great place to land in a pinch.

The bed was comfortable and the blankets were clean, but the welcome was awful. No one even greeted us, and they were really rude. It’s a long way from the center with nothing around, so I can’t see a reason to stay here.
