I started feeling so sick that I had to ask for the food to go. After just a few bites of the grilled kebab and vegetables and a glass of wine, I threw up right outside the property. I didn’t eat any more of it after that. I also think I was charged for bread I never ordered, and maybe for something else too. The receipt was in Georgian, so I couldn’t read it, but I saw a line for two of something even though I hadn’t ordered two of anything. By then I felt awful, so I paid and left. After such a horrible experience, I should be paid back what I spent.

The soup, pork, eggplant, and dim sum were great. They make traditional Georgian wine here, and I bought a bottle each of red and white. Compared with European wines, these aren’t subtle or delicate, they’re rustic and traditional. Georgia was the first country to brew the kind of wine we enjoy today.

The place is beautiful, and the waiter was very nice. The receptionist was attentive too. Such a beautiful spot!

We were the only guests at Chateau Kiramala’s restaurant when we visited, which made the meal feel intimate. The room itself was lovely, cozy, and charming, and the food was tasty, well prepared, and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Only one young woman spoke English, and most people spoke Georgian rather than Russian, but we managed to communicate smoothly. One man showed us around the Chateau and explained the wine production, then let us taste some. The wines were lovely. We also saw apartments on site that looked very nice from outside. Great food, wine, and warm hospitality made it a memorable visit.

The food was tasty, and the restaurant blends beautifully into the natural surroundings. There were a few seating areas, and we picked the one with a leafy carpet and a whimsical feel. A very polite cat wandering around freely was a lovely touch.
