Royal Palace Hotel

The garden is beautiful, the outdoor pools are amazing, and the hotel rooms are clean and nice. It’s well placed for hiking, too. The restaurant is good, the staff are lovely and helpful, and the service is great. The best place in Lagodekhi, highly recommended 👌

The staff were lovely, though they seemed very young, around 16-18, and not trained. The place is advertised as an exclusive hotel, but they also hosted outside events that took over the grounds and got a bit loud, though not after hours. For what appears to be the most expensive hotel in the region, it seems you’re mainly paying for the location, mountain views at breakfast, and pool access. The mattress was shockingly bad, with springs digging into our ribs. Our cabin TV seemed to be decoration only: it showed no channels and wasn’t connected to a receiver. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the few times I felt I got very little for the money.

We had a really enjoyable holiday here, it felt like heaven. The hotel has cute wooden houses, a huge garden with places to relax all around, plus a corner for children and two big pools. It’s just a short walk from the Lagodekhi national park. The prices are reasonable and cheap. Thanks for everything, recommended ❤️❤️

Don’t go. They showed complete disregard for guests! On Sunday, when the place was busiest, they started roadwork right in the breakfast area during breakfast. A car drove between three tables, leaving the food with the smell and taste of patrol. Machinery kept making noise throughout the guest area all Sunday, so nobody could get any rest. We weren’t warned, they still charged the full price, and none of the workers wore masks. They offered no apology, only said the receptionist apparently hadn’t known it was planned. On Saturday there was a wedding event as well as another event, even though both are forbidden in the country.
