We spent the summer here and really enjoyed our stay. The host was kind and helpful, and the window looked out onto lovely scenery. Breakfast was superb too. A great guesthouse in Mestia.

They let us leave our car outside the guesthouse longer than our stay, since we wanted to hike to Ushguli. The room was clean and warm, and the host was so welcoming. We also had delicious breakfast and an amazing borschtsch.

The view from bed was one of my favorite things here, with cows in green fields and Mestia's snowy peaks beyond them. View House is also wonderfully placed for getting around Mestia on foot, and the accommodation is in excellent shape for a budget-friendly stay. I loved the crisp white sheets and freshly washed, fluffy duvet cover. Nana is kind and thoughtful, even though her English is limited. Using a translator together was no problem, and we had a lovely time. I saw her cleaning after the guests in the next room checked out, which explained how she keeps this old, worn house so clean. The place has changed its name to View House. On Booking.com, search for the former name, "Guesthouse at Chartolani #4," to find it. I only had five days here because of my next plans, and I miss the time with Nana and Gela. I'd definitely like to return.

The scenery is breathtaking, and the hosts know the region well. They were glad to help us explore nearby places. Breakfast was among the best I've had, all natural and homemade.

Come here for the warm welcome, lovely breakfasts, relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings, rather than luxury. It's the kind of hospitality and beauty money can't buy. Highly recommended!
