The hammocks are such a lovely touch, and the food Fafo made was delicious. Staying in Fafo and her family’s home felt much more personal than the more hotel-like guesthouses. The rooms were clean, the family was so nice, and we never had to wait for the bathroom since the shower and toilet are in separate rooms. Highly recommend.

The food was the best I had on the trek from Mestia to Ushguli, all freshly made. They have cows and use the milk to make yogurt and cheese. The host was kind, and we had a wonderful stay. The two rooms at the back have a great view over the rest of the village and the mountains.

You’re staying right in the family’s home, and it’s a lovely family. There’s a nice garden with hammocks and a view, and it’s great having the shower and bathroom in separate rooms. The beds are big. Just be aware some rooms don’t have a window facing outside. Lovely stay overall!

After walking 17 km, this was just the right place to rest. Fafo was really kind to us, the rooms were clean, and the food was delicious. The guesthouse yard was perfect :)
