The host suggested hikes and helped us find a tire shop, which was really helpful. We stayed for two nights and loved the very good breakfast. The rooms had fantastic mountain views, and the place is right beside Guli pass in a small village. One of my favorite stays in Georgia!

The room was very clean, and the location is handy if you're planning a hike from Ushba. But the area seemed much quieter than Mestia, and at this time of year there were no nearby food options open. It didn't feel set up for cold weather: a small electric heater couldn't warm the room properly, and after a freezing night I ended up with a cold. The shower is crammed into a small toilet cabin, so expect the floor to get flooded. There was no Wi-Fi, and breakfast was basic. We got the impression they were taking bookings in November without really operating. Ask about the heating before booking for winter.

We didn't stay overnight, just stopped to ask for directions. The owner was inviting, polite, and helpful. I'm quite sure this guest house would be a really good place to stay too.

Everything was clean, and the place stayed quiet. I slept well in a comfortable bed, and the water and shower worked without any trouble. Thanks to the hostess for taking such good care of us.

There was such a warm, friendly feel to the evening, and the hosts put out a huge dinner that tasted delicious.
