Guesthouse Lakhushdi

The room was very clean, though a little small for two. David and his family were kind and helpful, and he arranged transport to the guesthouse and helped organize a day trip to Ushguli. Two adorable farm dogs kept joining us whenever we hiked around the village. And David's mother made amazing breakfasts!

Their home, surrounded by nature, was as lovely and warm as the mesmerizing village itself. This family treated us like their own from the moment we arrived in the heart of Svaneti. We loved the homemade food, and they even went out of their way to drive us to the city and back. Their kindness felt so genuine. We're grateful and will definitely return. Thank you for everything!

David's dinners were amazing, especially the eggplant dishes. We spent four beautiful days at his place, and he was always happy to suggest good hikes nearby. If you don't have your own transport, he can drive you there. Thank you, my friend!!!

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and helped with everything we needed. We communicated easily with Davit, who shared useful information about road conditions, the mountains, and trails. We also enjoyed the very good house wine, plus excellent breakfast and dinner made with food from their own household. The terrace view was breathtaking, all green below with snowy mountains in the distance. For me, it was the most beautiful accommodation in Georgia. This is a family home, so everything feels authentic. I stayed in the attic room with a glass ceiling and terrace, which was a unique experience. The linen was fresh, the place clean, and the private bathroom made it comfortable. Congratulations to you and your wonderful family on what you've built there, and thank you for everything!
