Paata and his family made our stay amazing. They invited us to join their Christmas feast and made sure we had a great time. The breakfasts and dinners on the other days were fantastic too, with a great range of local dishes. It's the kind of place that makes you want to return, and I'd definitely stay again.

Ruso, the daughter, speaks good English and was really helpful with advice about walks. Her dad is kind and has a great sense of humour. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and I'd highly recommend the place. My only small complaint is that the pillows are pretty hard.

It's about a five-minute walk to Mestia's modern centre. The people were kind and the service was amazing, and the rooms were great too. A lovely stay, definitely recommend it!
