Hotel Posta Mestia

The hotel looks nice, but our spa visit as outside guests was disappointing. The Finnish sauna was only 67 degrees, the towels and bathrobe were dirty, and the shower wasn’t working properly. They also wouldn’t give us a full refund because we had “used” the facilities.

The restaurant on the top floor was a highlight, with panoramic views and two large terraces. Most dishes were delicious and well prepared, though a few could be better. Breakfast was decent and sufficient, but the setting and dinner stood out more. The hotel also has a pool, sauna, and massage room. The pool area is beautifully designed, and the sauna is functional. I didn’t try the massage service, so can’t comment on it. We stayed at Hotel Posta for five days on vacation, and for a 4-star hotel, it was an excellent experience. The whole place felt calm, refined, and thoughtfully put together. Its Svaneti-inspired mix of modern and traditional design made it feel cozy and elegant rather than generic. Our double room for two was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a great bed, plenty of natural light, and a layout that worked well. Every room has a balcony with exceptional mountain views. The bathroom also had high-quality finishes and clear attention to detail. Service was professional and helpful throughout. Staff were efficient, polite, and discreet, making things smooth without intruding. The hotel is right in the center of Mestia, so getting around on foot is easy, and the surrounding views are incredible. I enjoyed every moment here and honestly didn’t want to leave. The comfort, design, and majestic views make Hotel Posta stand out. I’ll definitely come back.

For 50 GEL, I spent the day in the spa area, using the sauna and swimming pool. They provided towels, shoes, and even a robe at no extra cost. The place was tidy and quiet, and service was really good. Absolutely stunning, and highly recommended for anyone staying in Mestia.

The rooms are spacious, cozy, and clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant’s panoramic views are lovely, and the food is delicious. It’s right in the heart of Mestia. The hot Finnish sauna and pool were great too. 👍👏
