The climb uphill is worth it for the lovely view over Mestia. We found the rooms and bathrooms clean, with heaters, and the family was very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious too.

We really liked the kids, who were so kind and friendly. The hosts were helpful and warm, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The rooms and bathrooms also felt very good by the standards of typical Georgian rooms.

The dinner was served very late, and at one point everyone had disappeared while we were hoping to use the kitchen, which was locked. When we arrived, we showed our Booking reservation and were told this wasn't the place. We spent 50 minutes searching before finding out it was the right one after all. We had booked breakfast, but they tried to charge us for it. The owner's attitude was strange, and we felt as if they were paying us to stay. We packed up and left the next day.
