Manoni's Guesthouse

They said the guesthouse was overbooked and would cancel our reservation, but we only found out two days before arrival. We’d booked five weeks earlier, so we had to change our travel plans at the last minute and find somewhere else to stay for more money. A really disappointing outcome with Manoni Ratiani Guesthouse.

We spent two nights at Manoni Guesthouse about 15 days ago. Miss Manoni welcomed us so warmly and looked after us with real kindness throughout. It felt like being at home. We appreciated her care a lot.

Breakfast was perfect each morning, and the owner and team were so welcoming. Whenever we spotted a small issue, one quick message was enough and they sorted it straight away. They made us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay at the Guest House, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

They called it overbooking, but when you look on Booking, our rooms are listed at twice the price. On the day we were due to check in, just two hours beforehand, he cancelled the reservation for our two families, ten people altogether. After we objected, he put us in worse conditions, with two rooms instead of three. We also had another booking for a few days later. We asked if he’d honor it, and he cancelled that one the next day. His conduct is regrettable and reportable. He speculates, lies, and competes unfairly with other establishments.
