The view at night from the fourth floor is great. It’s close to the center, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious too.

Nino and Irakli made us feel like we’d found a family in Mestia. They helped with directions and transport, and when our arranged car broke down, they found us another ride and made sure we were looked after. The people, food, and clean rooms were all wonderful, and we had a fantastic time. We really hope to come back.

The staff are friendly, and the wine is excellent. Just be aware that the entrance closes around 1 a.m., with nobody at reception to let you back in. If you come in late, you need to call the manager and wait for her to send someone to open the door. That’s inconvenient if you’re a night owl or staying out past midnight.

Nino, the owner, was kind and ready with advice whenever we needed it. We also tried the laundry service, which was quick and convenient. Old Seti Hotel has a cozy feel, and the views over Mestia and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. A welcoming place to stay while exploring Svaneti.

Old Seti Svaneti Hotel feels cozy and authentic, with a lovely local atmosphere. It’s right in the middle of town, so exploring Svaneti is easy. The host was so warm we felt like we were visiting family, and the food was finger-licking good, full of traditional flavor and made with care. Highly recommend it for a trip to the region.
