We had a happy week here with the kids. The hosts were kind, the place was clean and spacious, and everything we needed worked. There’s also a lovely view from the balcony.

We arrived at night, took one look at the dingy place and the strange host, and left immediately. Ioska house was a perfect welcome after that. Go there and spare yourself the awful disappointment.

For a solo trip, I think this place works well, and the standard is pretty high for the city. It’s comfortable, though nothing luxurious. The stairs are a bit off-putting, and the shared kitchen feels awkward. Rooms without a kitchen are quite cramped, so families should expect some discomfort.

I can’t recommend this place. Poles were treated badly, while Russians having loud parties seemed to get priority. When we asked the owner to quiet things down, the owner was drinking with them. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were another issue, and some food in the fridge looked like it had been put back for another go, so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my own things there. Our room was terribly cold despite the warm weather outside. You can find lower prices in the city for these conditions.
