Laguna Beach Club Hotel

The atmosphere was very calm, with a beautiful garden and clean rooms. The boutique hotel felt cozy and comfortable. The indoor pool was nicely heated, and we could enjoy a warm sauna after swimming.

The rooms we got were clean, but terribly small, with no sunlight and barely enough space to move around. We thought we'd booked the rooms shown on Google and Booking.com, and expected a lake view, but couldn't even see the hotel or its pool. I had asked twice for one large bed and was told that would be arranged, then we were given three small beds. I'd paid half the amount to book, but when we asked for a refund because we couldn't stay in those rooms, the host said he'd charge us for the first night, as if they were exactly the same rooms, and said we'd cost him a client. He was very rude and arrogant, and the prices were far too high for those rooms and beds.

The rooms were neat and clean, the staff were very friendly, and they have lovely cats you can pet. But beware of false advertising: there was neither a pool nor a sauna. The bathroom had a pungent smell.

The rooms were okay and the hosts were friendly. The cafe, though, was truly terrible. Worst khinkali ever, I couldn't even finish them. What a shame.
