Ulyana is such a bewitching creature, and this house became my family. Sitting by the fire and resting in those pale, gentle sheets brought me some of my most beautiful dreams. If you want to breathe in and live with the soul of Paradjanov, look no further. Your heart is longing for these walls. Don’t take another step onto this heretic soil without first finding this sacred temple.

The shared area is cozy, the bathrooms are alright, and the place is central with a lovely balcony view. Our double room was very small, and the bed squeaked with every movement. By Georgian standards it’s quite expensive. The girl looking after the place only speaks a little English, unfortunately.

Everything important is within walking distance, and Liberty Square metro station is five minutes away. The staff are always helpful, and the Wi-Fi works brilliantly everywhere. The hostel is super clean, too. The kitchen can feel a little cramped when it’s busy, but it’s still a lovely, charming place to hang out.

The staff are nice, the location is good, and the price was okay. The hostel’s hygiene could be better, though.

I stayed there for a month. It’s cozy and artistic, with private rooms at really good prices.
