Guesthouse Lasharai

We had a very pleasant stay: the place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the three women who run it were friendly. One of them speaks English. Breakfast was delicious, and the optional supper was just as good. We’d definitely come back. Just keep in mind how remote Tusheti is. Its beauty and authentic feel come with limited power: the solar panels are the only electricity source and work fully only when the sun is out. Hot water depends on that too, so shower when it’s available rather than whenever you feel like it.

The rooms were tidy and clean, each with its own bath and toilet. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, and the kitchen and food were good. There’s Wi-Fi and a small shop at the guesthouse for drinks and other things. Prices felt reasonable for this location. Highly recommended.

There’s a grocery shop at Guesthouse Lasharai where you can get drinks, cigarettes, and local souvenirs. The guesthouse itself is spacious, cozy, and comfortable in Upper Omalo, with great service and tasty local Tushuri food. They can also suggest hiking spots and arrange other activities.

We stayed here as part of a trip and loved the food, comfortable accommodation, and great views. It’s right in the center of Upper Omalo. Highly recommend.
