The host was so kind and helpful with arranging things to do nearby. The homemade wine was delightful, and dinner and breakfast were amazing, the best food we had on our trip in Georgia. We stayed just one night with my wife, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The place has a magical atmosphere, and our room was cozy and clean.

Nika knows a tremendous amount about the surrounding area. His mother runs an art school, and his father has a woodworking studio and shop. It’s a wonderful family run guesthouse, with a lovely site and rooms. They offer two meals a day, with a third available on request, and give the place tremendous TLC.

The 200 year old wooden house is beautiful, and the whole place feels like a living museum with so much history. Our room was clean, comfortable, and warm. Nika also has loads of information about the nearby hiking trails. We stayed for one night and got Georgian hospitality at its finest. Nika and his family were so welcoming and friendly, and there was plenty of outstanding food, wine, and chacha. Highly recommend booking through WhatsApp if you’re planning a visit to Racha.
