Hotel Park Green

A terrible hotel. It was dirty and very uncomfortable, and nothing worked properly.

Seven colleagues and I were moved here after flooding at our work accommodation. We got rooms quickly and left reception. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were fairly comfortable. The bathrooms were okay, but the shower head was split and the water pressure so low that we couldn’t get a proper shower. There was old water in the bathroom floor corners, under the basin and beside the shower. The rooms showed a lot of neglected maintenance. The TV only had Georgian channels, and the air conditioning didn’t work. We reported it, but nobody came to fix it. Rooms facing the road were noisy during the day and late into the night.

The staff were still kind and polite, breakfast came on time, and the restaurant served food. Even so, the price felt a bit high for what we got, though I’d still recommend a short stay. The hotel seems to have been well designed and built, but it hasn’t been maintained over time. Water dripping at the entrance in the rain made that obvious. The rooms are large, nice, and well equipped, but the tap was broken and the bathroom cleaning was extremely poor. There weren’t any towels in my room. It was low season, and everything felt relaxed and left without much order.

The room on the fifth floor was cosy, and the bed was comfortable. The main snag was breakfast starting too late, so I didn’t get to try it. Communication in English was a challenge, but we managed to understand each other. Given the location and the conditions around it, the services and facilities weren’t bad.
