Mgzavrebi Gonio Beachfront Studio Sea View Apartments

I’m writing about the restaurant mgzavrebi. There was no soap in the toilet for washing hands, and the staff use that same toilet. Imagining food being prepared without handwashing made us sick, and we threw up over their food. I raised it with a barman because there was no manager to speak to, but he didn’t seem interested and was very reluctant to talk with us. This was on 11th September 2019. Please check the toilet before ordering food there!

The hotel is well located. I stayed there a few years ago because it was good value for money, but this time I was disappointed. The hotel infrastructure is visibly outdated, and there were technical and hygiene problems in the rooms. I’d booked seven days with my family, but after just one night I decided to move to another hotel.

The pool area felt unsafe, with open holes and damaged parts, and the management was awful. We also had too few towels and bed sheets. Water was unavailable for hours, and when it came back, it was dirty and smelled strange. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was my first and last time there, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The rooms weren’t clean, and loud, awful music played through the night, so it felt like living in a bar. But the biggest problem was the water. We had none for two days, which meant no chance to shower. We’re leaving and won’t come back. This is my first Google review, and I’m writing it to warn anyone thinking of booking Mgzavrebi Gonio. There’s no service to speak of. Look elsewhere and don’t waste your time or money. I’ll make sure to tell as many people as I can.
