The beds are comfortable, but I’d only recommend staying here in warmer weather. October is already very cold, and there’s no heating in the room. Rain makes it feel like a nightmare. The bathroom is out on the balcony, where it’s bitterly cold and the tiled floor is freezing. At night the water takes about ten minutes to warm up, and its temperature keeps changing. Living like this in autumn feels like a health risk.

The family who runs the guesthouse were so friendly and accommodating. They invited us to share wine one evening, which was lovely. The rooms and toilets were clean, the beds comfortable, and the location was good.

We had an easy time communicating in English, and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They can suggest things to do locally or drive you along an itinerary you choose for a reasonable price. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The owners were kind and helpful, and the place is a pleasant walk from the town center. They’re still building it out and do the work themselves, so there were a few hiccups. The faulty water heater meant there wasn’t enough hot water, and for some reason the owner switches off the air conditioning at 7 AM, so you can forget sleeping late in a cool room. It’s an okay stay for a decent price.
