The hotel is newly built, near Telavi’s historic centre, and the rooms are spacious, ensuite, and have balconies. There’s a roof terrace with beautiful views, plus a well equipped kitchen for making light meals. Otari is a very friendly host who can help arrange a transfer from Tbilisi or find a local guide. He also sells tasty local wine and honey. I’d like to come back!

I’m just wrapping up my second night here, and the little details have impressed me, from underfloor heating in the spacious bathrooms to the fabulous roof terrace. The bedroom is roomy and the bed is extremely comfortable. Our host has been kind and attentive too.

The views from the rooftop terrace and the windows are a real treat, with the whole valley and mountain range in sight. This is a cozy, small, family-run hotel in a central spot, with shops nearby and the fortress and other sights within walking distance. Our room was spacious and warm, with a balcony, and the bed was unusually comfortable. The hosts are warm and welcoming. I highly recommend it, 100 out of 10.
