I chose this place because I couldn't pay cash anywhere else. It looks beautiful from the outside, but the rooms are very basic for what they charge, and my bed wasn't very comfortable. The service was terrible. They barely looked at you, and their English wasn't good enough to have a conversation. My room had a TV from the late 90s, which seemed pointless and just took up space. The bathroom looked clean, but honestly needed more cleaning. The Internet didn't work at all. This place could be a lot better with very little effort.

The beds were awful, the room was noisy, and the doors wouldn't lock. The toilet leaked, and the bathroom only had scalding water, no cold water. We were even locked outside before midnight, with no response when we tried to reach anyone. They'd canceled our booking because we arrived at 14:30 instead of 14:00. A complete disaster for one night. There are plenty of much better places around.

We enjoyed the meal and chatting with the other guests, but the service went downhill fast. They struggled to get our order right, then after we'd paid and left, the waitress followed us down the street insisting we hadn't paid. We had a tense argument there before she finally gave in, huffily. Sighnaghi has other good restaurants with better service.

The room has a nice, luxurious look, and the waiter was really sweet. But most of the desserts on the menu weren't available, and the bill was higher than the prices listed. I don't mean the service charge.

The hotel is right in the center, and the host is doing something wonderful, putting up hundreds of Ukrainian refugees from Mariupol for free and organizing activities for them. A lovely place.
