I booked ahead, but when I arrived on the reserved day there was nobody there. It was raining, and I had to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute. What a lack of respect!

The balcony gives you a spectacular look at Mount Kazbeg and the Gegerti trinity church when the sky is clear, and the town square is only about a 10-minute walk, around 650m away. Inside, the room was spacious and clean, with a shared fridge in the corridor. Hot water and heating were available around the clock, so both the room and bathroom stayed warm. The owner was super nice and tried to meet all my needs during the stay. One of the best value-for-money places I’ve visited. If you’re going to Kazbegi, I don’t think you’ll regret staying here.

The terrace looks out over Gergeti village and Kazbegi mountain, and breakfast was wonderful. We spent two nights here, and the clean, tidy, cozy place made me feel like I was at my grandmother’s house.

We got homemade wine and cheese from the owners, and they even helped us wash our clothes. They’re really friendly. The terrace has an amazing view and was a great place to unwind after a long hike. The guesthouse is central, but tucked away from the noise of the main street.

The food was delicious, and the balcony has beautiful views. If the clouds clear, you can actually see Kazbek. The lady who owns the house is very nice. Highly recommended for everyone.
