Checkin Kazbegi Apartments

The two brothers who manage the cottages were unbelievably friendly. They kept checking in, took care of requests quickly, and were there for us at any hour, day or night. They even offered us a bottle of wine. I also chose this place because the managers had taken comments into account and made changes, and they really had. The cottage is in a private, secure area where you can park inside and have plenty of privacy. Shops and restaurants are less than a five-minute drive away. I saw lots of cottages around Kazbegi after arriving, but I don’t regret picking this one at all. There are a couple of bathroom issues: shower water splashes onto the floor, and sometimes there’s a smell from the drain. I’ve run into the same things at other hotels in Georgia, so I assume it may be common. There’s no water or bidet hose for anyone who needs one, though I’m sure the guys may consider adding it. No other complaints.

They helped print documents we needed later in our trip, and when the shower stopped working on our second day, it was repaired the following day. They also gave us a bottle of wine to make up for it. We stayed four nights at the Checkin Kazbegi, and from the first moment both hosts, male and female, were kind and generous. The hosts and location were just what we could have hoped for.

Cozy place, great people, and a really friendly feel.
