A small shop and a traditional bakery are right across the street, and the rooms are fine. Garbani Gardens also makes a great base for hiking, with the Sno and Truso valleys, Gergeti church and its view of amazing Kasbek, and the cute nearby villages all easy to reach. We had a wonderful week there this summer thanks to our host Gogi, who speaks English and Russian. We'll be back!

Gogi, the owner, is kind-hearted and always there if you need anything. He's put real care into preparing each room, and the house is well-equipped, with high-quality amenities and a super comfortable room. I felt so at ease that I stayed longer than planned. I'm traveling the world by motorcycle for a humanitarian project, and Garbani Garden has become one of my favorite places. The kindness, attentiveness, and authentic human touch are exactly what I appreciate. Set in a small, genuine village surrounded by mountains, it has a large, beautiful garden and is a wonderful spot to relax and recharge. I highly recommend it. 100% happiness.
The village is peaceful, beautifully set in the mountains, and feels simple and authentic. I found the locals incredibly friendly and welcoming, and there's a small market right next door with all the essentials. The place is clean and comfortable, with a large garden. The host is always available and makes sure everything goes smoothly. I highly recommend it, one of the best places I've stayed in Georgia.
