The rooms were clean and cozy, with nice bathrooms and hot water around the clock. There’s also a lovely balcony with a stunning view of the Kazbegi mountains. The guesthouse is an easy walk from the village square. Totally recommend it.
We never stayed here, but the owner helped us get from outlying villages to Stepantsminda twice while we were walking. He wouldn’t accept any money for it. He was so kind and hospitable. We’re immensely grateful, and if we come back, we’ll definitely choose this place.
We spent a week here while climbing Mount Kazbek and some nearby mountains. The location and facilities were great, and the hospitality was proper Georgian hospitality. They were super friendly, helped us out a lot, and made the stay awesome. I’d strongly recommend it.
We cooked breakfast in the shared kitchen, and the hosts were so warm and accommodating. Sofie, the wife, is lovely and easy to feel comfortable around. Her husband offered to drive us to places for a fee, which was convenient. It’s right in the town center and great value for money. Five stars all around!
The owner is super nice and hospitable, and the terrace is a great spot, with a chimney and a picturesque mountain view. The place is neat and clean, the room has a woodsy smell that makes it feel like home, and the Wi-Fi is fast. :)
