Paramount Kazbegi

Nino made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. She’s incredibly warm, and the hotel has a big, friendly dog too. We ended up here because our mountain tour operator booked it for us, and loved our stay so much that I’d choose it again if I return to the village. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and some have beautiful mountain views. It’s near the village center but away from the main road, so it’s quiet and feels safe. Pets are welcome, and we saw other guests with dogs.

Nino was so kind and helpful. She suggested places to visit and offers breakfast and dinner. We left our car there while hiking Kazbeck, and when we got back at midnight, she had waited for us and prepared dinner. The rooms were nice and clean.

The terrace was lovely for morning coffee or playing board games with family late at night, and we had wonderful views from both there and our bedroom. The location is great, within walking distance of several restaurants. Nino welcomed us warmly and checked that we were comfortable with the room and service. She doesn’t speak much English, but Google Translate helped us communicate. She offered homemade breakfast, which we politely declined so we could try nearby restaurants. In hindsight, we wish we’d said yes! Hot water worked well, which is handy with kids, and there’s free Wi-Fi. They also have a friendly dog.

We spent two nights in Kazbegi, and the view from my bed was stunning. The place felt cozy and homey, and the room was neat and very clean, with a comfortable bed and blanket. The hot shower worked perfectly. Nino was kind and helpful, even though she speaks only a little English. It’s a few minutes’ walk from the main road, with good restaurants nearby. I had a wonderful time here.
