Pyramid Kazbegi

Cabin 3 was cozy and nice, and came with a fully working kitchen. They provide the cookware, so you can cook, but bring your own ingredients. The owner was really sweet.

The hosts made sure everything was right and were so welcoming. The cottages felt cozy and home-like, and the views were beautiful, especially in the peaceful mornings and evenings. I had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

We paid the full amount in advance through the MakeMyTrip website, but when we arrived, the host said they couldn’t accommodate us because there had been no water for five days. I believe that was a lie, since nearby buildings had water. Instead, they put us in a very cheap room within walking distance. The next day we saw guests at the place we’d originally booked and asked them about it. They said they had stayed there the night before, so we concluded the host had put other guests in the higher-priced accommodation and sent us to a cheaper place nearby. The water problem and claim that the room hadn’t been cleaned seemed like a complete act. Please don’t book here if you want to avoid having your trip spoiled by an awful experience like ours. We felt the hosts were dishonest and kept lying to and cheating their guests.

Sofie, who I think is the owner, was very friendly and happy to answer our questions or concerns. We also got visits from a few adorable cats and made friends with them. The cabin is cozy, up a hill, with a great view of Kazbegi mountain and the Trinity Church. Its kitchen was well equipped, and we prepared a few meals there. Sleeping was harder because the mattress was uncomfortable, and the sheets built up static electricity.
