Shushabandi Kazbegi Bed&Breakfast

The view was the first thing I saw each morning when I opened my eyes. It's incredible, even better than the photos. Our room was clean and neatly arranged, and the owners were so friendly. We asked for dishes, cups, forks, even a kettle, and they did their best to bring us everything. We fell in love with the place and would definitely come back ❤️

Room #3 has a fantastic view, but that's the main thing going for it. It's a simple, minimalist room with a large window and no balcony or mini fridge for food and drinks. The room was generally clean. The weak, unreliable wifi was another downside. The bathroom setup was frustrating. There's no divider or raised edge between the shower and dry areas, so after showering the floor by the toilet and the bath mat were soaked. On our second night, Ana offered us a room with a balcony, but didn't mention an extra charge. We accepted, then on the day we were meant to move she said we'd have to pay more. We ended up staying in our original room. She apologized for the mistake and for giving us the wrong information, but I wish she'd told us about the charge when she made the offer. We paid GEL144 for two nights, and felt there were much cheaper places that also had balconies. The room's view was the clear plus. If you're a light sleeper, this may not suit you: you need to keep the windows open for the cool breeze and airflow, and then you can hear everything outside, as well as people talking or shutting doors in the hallway.

The mountain view from the room was amazing 😍. The owner was good and the rooms were clean, all in all pretty good. P.S. We didn't eat here.

We were well looked after here. The location is wonderful, the room is well maintained, and the price is good. Breakfast was a feast.
