Soncho Kazbegi

The room decor was really nice and comfortable, and there was a kettle with cups, though no tea bags or coffee. The balcony looks out over the Kazbeg mountains, and the view is amazing even from bed. There were two big bean bags to use in the room or take out to the balcony, plus an extra blanket that came in handy when it got chilly out there. I enjoyed the room. The balcony could use a clean now and then because of bird droppings. Noise was the main problem for me. Sound carries in from the corridor, and kids running, shouting, and stomping around at 11pm, then someone leaving at 5:30am, woke me up. Otherwise, it's a fantastic hotel. I'd recommend it if you're not a light sleeper. They only accept cash.

Friendly staff, and a great value stay. There's a shared kitchen, a washing machine, and space to sit outside and keep our bicycles. They also stored our luggage while we hiked up Mt Kazbeg.

The receptionist gave us really helpful information. Our room was clean and nice, with its own bathroom and a lovely view of Kazbek. We paid extra for breakfast, and it was excellent.

The price is very reasonable, and the rooms are clean with hot water. Lika, the owner, is wonderful and speaks English really well, so communication was easy. The property is split between a guesthouse and a hotel. Highly recommended.
