We could walk to the town center and the hikes, and it was handy to have a washing machine. The rooms were comfortable, and we watched TV in the evenings. But some basics affected the stay: the hot water was out on the first day, and even after it was fixed it was hard to use and unpredictable. They only turned on the heat after we asked, when it was 5 degrees, and some dishes were dirty. These things could be improved and would make a big difference to the experience.

The location was great, and I was happy with my stay. There are two rooms with clean bedding, and basic towels are supplied. For stays of two nights or longer, they'll replace the towels if you ask. A washing machine is useful mid-trip, but there's no dryer, so laundry may not dry if you're only staying one night. Shampoo and body wash aren't provided, just a small bar of soap. The shower's hot and cold markings are switched. To get warm water, turn the tap all the way toward the cold mark so the heater starts. If that doesn't work, turning on the sink's hot water can help. I figured this out during my three-night stay. There's a microwave and basic cooking gear, though the pots and pans were a bit disappointing. Parking is at the entrance to the alley leading to the accommodation.
