The location beside the Church is great, and Leo shared plenty about the area and showed us around. The owners are so welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable. This was our second stay at Leo's, and we think it's the best hostel in Stepantsminda. We'll be back for a third time.

The beds are cozy and comfortable, and there are lockers if you need to leave gear behind while summiting. The views are spectacular when you wake up. The owner and his family made me feel so welcome. Breakfast was offered both times I stayed, although it wasn't included in the price, and I also had a really nice dinner here. Easily the best hostel I've stayed at. If I come back, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Leo and his family are lovely hosts, and the rooms are warm and tidy. Breakfast was delicious, too. It's close to the "bus station". Best hostel in the world.

The owner was very kind and tried to help as much as he could, though he didn't know much English. The room was another story. I saw and killed more than 10 spiders there. We asked the owner to deal with them when we arrived, and he killed 5, but we found more afterwards. The room had cracks everywhere and was in poor shape. It felt uncomfortable and disappointing, and I didn't even want to shower. I'm appalled this place has such a high rating. I wouldn't recommend it.

After coming back from the mountains, you have what you need here: hot water, clean rooms, and a kitchen for guests. Leo hostel is an affordable, cozy place, and the host is friendly and very nice. Greetings to him.
