The cottage was spacious, clean, cozy, and well equipped, with lovely views of Gerneti, the mountains, and the famous church. The guesthouse itself is quiet, and it’s close to the “center” of Kazbegi, with markets and transport nearby. I highly recommend the cottages here.

We stayed in a cottage in Nov 2023 and got snowed in, so we ended up adding a couple of nights. It was a really relaxing and enjoyable place to be stuck. The host was friendly and proactive, clearing snow from our entrance every so often. We managed to communicate with gestures, Google translate, and a couple of phone calls to her kids. The dogs were sweet, too. Our heated cottage had gorgeous views of the snowy mountainside and Gergeti Church in the distance, and the nearby stores made it easy to stock up on wine. The cottage had good wifi, a smart TV with Netflix, and a kitchen where we cooked our own meals as vegans rather than choosing breakfast. The high window near the room had no curtains, which didn’t bother us, but could let in a lot of light in other seasons. I’m sure it’s just as beautiful in summer.

The owner is very friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There’s a bathroom, towels, hotel slippers, and warm water, plus a beautiful view of Kazbek mountain. Breakfast is delicious and worth the price, with eggs, sousages, cake, caffee, tea, jam, bread, and plenty more. I herbly recommend this place.
