About Sololaki

The building is stylish, and the location is decent, with the center within walking distance. It's on a very narrow street, though, so taxis sometimes struggle to get in and out. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast had lots of fresh, delicious choices. The staff were helpful when I was planning my city itinerary. I'd definitely stay here again.

The view is beautiful, and the hotel is really quiet. It's new, lovely, and very clean, which I liked a lot. The location wasn't ideal for me, and it can get very dark at night, especially if you're arriving late. There is a supermarket and pharmacy nearby, though. The rooms are cleaned every day, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Highly recommended!

The employee was responsive, answered my questions, and worked with us on every issue, which felt great. But staying in the room was unpleasant, and I can't recommend the hotel. There were stains all over the carpet and bathroom, as if someone had put out cigarettes there. The room was stuffy, and without window screens we couldn't air it out because mosquitoes and flies came in. The AC's ventilation setting didn't help, especially at night. The room speakers were a poor idea too, since people used them late in the evening and we couldn't sleep. In the morning, ants covered the table and our personal things. We paid for breakfast, but most of the food was dry; only the bread and vegetables tasted good, so we had to find a coffee shop instead. The hotel needs renovation. I attached pictures of the carpet, walls, and foot shower towel. I was shocked.

Nearby 24-hour markets were handy, and despite the area's slightly old, run-down first impression, it felt safe to walk around even late at night. Freedom Square is about a 10-minute walk away, with buses and Bolt as other options. The rooms were very clean but a little small, and there was no minibar. Breakfast had limited choices, though that didn't spoil our enjoyment of the stay.
