The family who runs this place made my stays feel like I was with relatives, and it’s what sets it apart. I’ve stayed in many places around the world, but this was on another level. I’ve already been here twice, and both visits were special. The rooms are huge, spotless, and smell lovely, more like home than a hotel. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise, especially up on the 5th floor with a view over Tbilisi, almost the whole city below you. You’re right in the center of Old Tbilisi. Freedom Square is a 10-minute walk, public transport is a minute away, and food shops, cafés, malls, and Carrefour are all nearby. I’ll definitely come back. I’d call it a must-stay when visiting Tbilisi.

I only stayed one night, but I’d definitely return. The room was clean and spacious, and the location is central. The city view was a highlight, as was how friendly the host was. I needed to leave early for a tour, and the host kindly arranged breakfast ahead of schedule. I really appreciated it.

The balcony view is splendid, and Babilina Hotel is in Old City, with lots of places to eat and shop nearby. We spent three nights there and had a very pleasant time. The owners are lovely and friendly, so feel free to ask if you need anything. Breakfast was great, and they served it early on the day we had to check out early. Thank you for the hospitality, and see you again!

The hotel is a cool place, and everyone else was fine, but there’s an old man on the first floor with a bad attitude. It feels like having to pass a dungeon monster on the way to your room every time. Hotel management, if you want the place to thrive, please don’t have this man interact with guests. At 8 am, a friend I hadn’t seen in three years came by. We couldn’t find a coffee shop to sit in, so we thought we’d go to my room and talk for a while. When we left at 10 am, the old man came over and argued with me in Georgian about why there were two people when I’d booked the room for one. I tried to explain we’d only been talking in the room, but he doesn’t speak English. Then he told me I had to check out. I think he confused me with someone else.

I’d been happy with my whole 10-day stay in Georgia until the last night, when I stayed at this hotel. The owner was an old man with a very bad attitude. The door lock was already broken, and later I accidentally locked the door. We were furious and very surprised, and it really lowered my impression of Georgia. The hotel and owner were very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very poor. If you want a higher-quality trip, I recommend choosing a better hotel. We’d booked this place at the last minute after the merchant canceled our previous reservation for no reason. The final day in Georgia left a very bad taste. At the airport, we also met a girl who was forcibly begging and demanded money from us in a commanding tone. Oh no…
