I really loved this hotel, and I was sorry we had to leave in a hurry without saying goodbye to so many people. Even though the owner doesn’t speak English and we speak different languages, the staff and owner made it feel like a second home. I felt very comfortable there. It may seem a little far from the city center to some travelers, but the people here always did their best to help with the small problems we ran into in a foreign country. I’m truly grateful for that, and hope we get to meet again someday.

We booked here twice. The convenient location first brought us in, but it was the warm welcome that made us return. The second time, we turned up as a last-minute option when something caught us off guard. They were fully booked, yet still managed to find us a room and invited us to a traditional feast. The rooms are clean, organized, comfortable, and modern. We were amazed by the hospitality and would definitely come back when we get the chance. I highly recommend staying here.

Hotel Mogzauri had everything: the kindest, most helpful people, great service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. They helped us communicate with locals, did our laundry quickly and cleanly, and made us feel part of Georgian hospitality. I know where I’ll stay next time I visit Georgia.

The hosts are very good, though the hotel is a little far from the center. A taxi to Old Tbilisi costs around 10-15 GEL. There’s a private yard where you can park a car or motorcycle. Breakfast and dinner are homemade, with small grocery shops about a 10-minute walk away and more shops and restaurants around 20 minutes away.
