Namaste Hostel

The balcony was my favorite spot, I spent hours there watching people and taking in the city views, including the cable car. As a woman traveling on my own, I felt welcome and never out of place. The old town location made it easy to explore on foot, even with my 20,000-step days, and I felt safe. It was one of the coziest hostels I've stayed in, almost like home. I'd come back to Tbilisi and stay here again.

The terrace gives you nice views over Tbilisi, and the hostel is beautifully decorated throughout. It's clean, and the rules are observed. The host is attentive and helpful, and the old town location is ideal.

Really fun, relaxed, friendly place, and the decor is lovely. Prices are reasonable, it's clean, and the staff are helpful. A big thanks to the Georgian guy whose name I didn't catch. He checked me in at 5 a.m., shared lots of recommendations, and a week later helped me split a taxi to the airport with other travelers to save money. This is the place!

The shared balcony looks over the old city and works just as well for hanging out with people as for having some quiet time. The decor is one of a kind, with lovely murals in every room, and the two resident cats are Shiva and Kali. The admins are warm and welcoming. There's a great kitchen with an oven. Both the dorms and the private room are comfortable, and the private room has its own balcony. The facilities are in great shape and kept very clean. Right in the old city, it's a handy base for exploring.
