Cico's garden has lovely vegetables growing, and she shared fresh fruit and vegetables with me. The house is beautiful, and my room was comfortable. The AC made a real difference in the heat. I came back for another night because this is my favorite place to stay in Telavi, and Cico is my favorite Georgian person. She's incredibly kind and warm. I shared many meals with her in the kitchen and garden, and we used to make coffee together. I also met some of her family and friends, who welcomed me and treated me to dinner. We didn't speak the same language, but somehow understood each other perfectly. If you can overlook a few cleanliness issues, knowing that this woman in her seventies manages the place on her own, you'll experience the best of Georgian hospitality. I miss you, Cico.

The house is enormous, and my room was spacious and comfortable, with its own bathroom. The door doesn't lock, but that really wasn't a problem for me. I had a wonderful time with Cico, even though she doesn't speak English. She's full of life and such a spirited woman. Staying with her was one of my best experiences in Georgia. I hope you're lucky enough to be invited to dinner with her family. Madloba Cico!!!

The location is handy, about five minutes on foot from the city center, with the bus station five minutes away in the other direction. The rooms are very nice, and the house has a little backyard with a hammock. Cico is a great host, and you can ask her about breakfast or other meals. We spent a month traveling around Georgia and still remember breakfast at Cico's. She speaks Georgian and Russian, but not English. If something important comes up, her family can help in English, and she can call them if they're not already there. Recommended.

The hostess, Tsitso, is welcoming and gives really good directions. Her breakfasts are so filling they can keep you going until dinner, and each room has its own bathroom. The guest rooms could use an update, though, and the lighting is quite dim. Still, it's a decent guesthouse overall.

The house has a vintage feel and sits close to the center. Tsitso was so warm and treated me like family. Thanks again from Inna. I'll remember this place fondly.
