The owner was kind and greeted us with wine, though she didn't speak English, which made things a little awkward. The garden looked nice, and maybe the place works better as a base than for a quick stop. Our room was more or less clean, though not spotless, and the beds weren't very comfortable. We hadn't been given the room we booked, either: there was no view and it had three separate beds instead of a double. Breakfast was advertised, but we didn't get any.

The room was comfortable, with AC and a private bathroom. Oto and his whole family welcomed me warmly, poured local wine and chacha, and cooked a delicious Georgian-style barbecue. I met several people from Telavi, then we toured the surrounding area together and learned a lot about its history. Such friendly people. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

The room was spotless and the facilities were good, and we did get to try some homemade wine. The owners don't speak English, and they weren't especially warm compared with other guesthouses we've stayed in. When we asked about breakfast, they said no. We also asked for help arranging a winery visit, but they only called a taxi driver, who then tried to charge us a very high price.

The garden has an amazing view, and our room had air conditioning. We could use the kitchen, and our host made us coffee in the morning. They welcomed us with delicious homemade wine, chacha, and koniak. It felt a bit like visiting my grandpa, and it was one of our best stays in Georgia. :)

We got a breathtaking view and paid a very fair price. The host was incredibly generous, taking us to his wine cellar and giving us homemade wine for free. Highly recommended.
