The house was clean and nice, and the bed mattresses and pillows were new and comfortable. Senior Tariel made my time in Telavi unforgettable. We visited the wine factory, caught rtveli in the grape fields, and went up to Nekresi church, where the views from the mountain were unbelievable. Tariel has lived a fascinating life and knows so much about Georgian culture. You can tell he truly loves his guests.

The balcony was a lovely place to unwind in the evening, with a beautiful view of the Caucasus mountains. Our room at Tinikos Guesthouse was spacious, and its high ceilings made it feel even more comfortable. Everything was clean and cozy, with a warm atmosphere throughout. The hosts, an elderly gentleman and his wife, were incredibly kind and hospitable. They even shared their delicious homemade chacha with us. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Telavi.

We loved it so much that we added extra nights. Tiniko made the stay feel homely and authentically Georgian, almost like being with grandparents. He was always smiling, so welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Our huge room was bright, spotlessly clean, and had high ceilings. We loved the balcony and its fantastic view of the Caucasus mountains. The location is central, just a short walk from Main Street and the fortress, and breakfast was fantastic, with plenty to eat. Tiniko helped organize day trips around the area and adapted them to suit our needs. He also suggested local restaurants and helped arrange our travel back to Tbilisi, driving us to the local station and speaking with the drivers for us. Highly recommended.

We only had one night, and would gladly have stayed longer. We were in Kakheti for the weekend with my wife and youngest son, and the house and yard were incredibly cozy, clean, and comfortable. Even with daytime heat of +35, the room stayed very fresh at night without air conditioning. The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from the city center, the fortress, and city theater. Tariel, the owner, gave us an amazing tour of Kakheti. In the morning, Tiniko surprised us with delicious pancakes for tea, so we didn't need breakfast afterward. It was an amazing stay, and we'll definitely come back!

The room was roomy and clean, and the balcony was a lovely extra. We felt so welcome at Tinikos' beautiful house, even though the hosts didn't speak English. They were a very kind, hospitable couple.
