The view from here is 11 out of 10, and I slept well in the comfortable bed. It was quiet, too. I stayed for four weeks from September 20, which felt like the best time, neither too hot nor too cold. I booked through Booking, and the owner even picked me up from Kobuleti for free, thanks again. Minibuses from Kobuleti or Batumi come often and cost 3 lari, though finding the place from the bus stop on your own is difficult. I really liked the terrace with its fantastic view. I worked online there thanks to the good internet, relaxed, ate, and cooked. There’s a designated smoking area, so non-smokers don’t have to breathe other people’s cigarettes. The neighbors were nice. For food, there are two shops within walking distance. Prices were a little cheaper than in Kobuleti, the selection was a bit smaller but there was enough. You can get water from a mountain river, and buy milk, suluguni, butter, wine, and chacha from the owners. The beach is beautiful and not crowded, but it took me 30 minutes to walk there and 40 minutes back, uphill the whole way. That’s why I didn’t go every day. Electricity went out once a week and the water went off sometimes. It was already cold for several days at the end of my stay. The rooms don’t lock, and there are lots of bugs crawling around.

You can buy homemade dairy from the owner, including milk, matsoni, cheese, and more, and he’s happy to help with any questions. Giorgi's Guesthouse is a lovely, affordable choice for travelers who want privacy and the comforts of home. Nearby are one of the coast’s cleanest and most beautiful beaches and the ancient Petra Fortress.
