Beware, this was the worst experience of my life. The place felt like a prison, and the landlady was greedy and ill-mannered, with no basic human values. It’s remote, an hour from Batumi, and has hardly any services nearby. You stay in a very small cabin with nowhere outside to sit or relax, and no privacy. Another cabin, like another cell, is right beside it. The cabin is inside the old woman’s house, and after we entered, I asked her daughter to close the villa gate on us. Yes, it felt like we were under arrest. The cabin was much like a guard’s room in both location and size. The worst part was that the limit was four people, but I had two extra children with me. I asked her to charge me for them, but she refused. I asked if I should leave the children in the street, and she said it wasn’t her concern, the children couldn’t enter, and I had to pay the full amount for three days, 1400 lari, as a penalty. I said I’d pay and leave rather than stay without my children. Booking staff called and told her I should pay 50% of the amount. The unpleasant old woman accepted reluctantly. I gave her another 100 lari because she had taught me a harsh but important lesson for the future, then I left that prison and frightening nightmare. Thank God, life teaches lessons.
